Fungicides protect plants from disease-causing organisms that spread quickly and destroy crops. On a farm, aggressive diseases can destroy an entire field.

There are three types of fungicides: fungicides that control disease during the growth of crops; fungicides that increase productivity of a crop; and fungicides that improve the storage life and quality of harvested plants.
